Driving your new car for the first time

How to Choose Your First Japanese Car

- Just like a plug and play, the Civic and the Corolla are a sit and drive kind of car. They are not high maintenance
- They look good coming and going. For new drivers, it’s also easy to dress them up – just watch the movie, Fast and Furious. You’ll see different ways a modification on these cars can turn them unique and fierce.
- They’re fuel efficient which means less burden on the wallet
- There are spare parts and they’re affordable
- Insurance companies will not give you a hard time about having them insured because they have a good reputation for not being the type of car to steal and they are reliable on the road
- It’s easy to unload them when you decide to upgrade to a new car
If you are to buy a used car, you should follow these guidelines:
- Choose a woman driver as the previous owner than a male teenager or senior citizen. They tend to be careful drivers, neat and almost always spend on maintenance
- If you are going to buy an imported car, make it a Japanese car because they’re like women- they take care of their cars and not just its aesthetics but more importantly, the engine maintenance and performance
- Bring a mechanic with you when looking at the vehicle.
These are just the basic guidelines when looking for your first car. You should also read up on the brand you want and see how consumers and experts feel about it.

The Cost of a Japanese Car is Equal to… Comfort, Convenience, and Value for Money

When buying used Japanese cars, there are some key guidelines that you will need to pay attention to.
First, the car has to fall within the U.S. parameters of emission and safety standards. The right import taxes also have to be paid although usually, the importer incorporated this into the sale price. If you decide to import a Japanese car on your own, work with a freight forwarder who is familiar with the tons of paperwork that will need to be processed.
There are some dealers who would advise you to buy brand new Japanese cars already in show rooms in the U.S. However, even if you compare prices, and considering any additional costs you may run up, the used Japanese car is still cheaper by a considerable margin.
And why not buy used? If it’s made in Japan, you can be sure of quality and durability. The Japanese have this honor system instilled in each worker, and it’s highly unlikely that short cuts or compromises on quality and materials were even considered. What this means is that these cars will not break down unless it’s because of wear and tear, lack of maintenance, or abuse. Thus, it’s important to make sure records of any repairs, parts that were replaced, and general history of the car be given to you prior to the sale.

New Generation of Auto Japanese Vehicles
The global automotive industry is probably among those who have suffered the more impact the current economic crisis. Nevertheless, it continues to do research on Futures Cars, and innovations are always available. The Future cars (auto) manufacturers, in fact, trying to remain competitive by increasing the level of technology included in their products, as we have seen recently, in the case of Audi and Ford.
It therefore seems reasonable to expect that the cars in the next few years, become more intelligent and further integrate technologies. Probably a lot more time will pass before the flying cars become a reality, if ever. Perhaps, however, a few years cars will make things that we never imagined just five years ago.
New technologies usually show up first in luxury cars. The German producers, in this sense, are very active, but there are interesting products from around the world. Regarding the issues of research and development, nearly every aspect is covered, but certainly the safety and comfort are the masters.
The massive boom in Chinese two-wheel electric drive has reached 15 million vehicles produced in 2005. For 2010 it is expected that it will be even sold twice. This incredible production is positively influencing the development of increasingly efficient batteries in the future can also be used on larger vehicles. Moreover it is a commercial development planned by the government for anything, but stimulate only by market demand. This industrial and environmental success, therefore, did not cost a penny to the coffers in Beijing.
Some of the 110 Chinese manufacturers of cars that exist today come from the electrochemical and electrical industry, and are taking advantage of this experience (not common in the automotive West) to develop, within the government program 863 with 1.3 billion RMB, cars battery, with the aim of presenting it and trying to journalists during the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and during the World Expo 2010 Shanghai.
Many American institutions (enter government, industry, academic institutions and even some oil companies specialized in chemical components for batteries) are pushing to ensure that the products are “plug-in hybrids” that are hybrid vehicles with a battery from 2 to 5 times larger than that of a Toyota “Prius”, to allow greater autonomy “all-electric” and equipped with charging socket to be used, possibly at night, at home.
Should You Compare Japanese and American-Made Tractors?
Another obvious sign that there is a strong mutual business relationship between Japanese and American tractor companies is seen in the surge of compact and mini farm tractors. This size of tractor is very common in Japan where the farm lots are not as large as in the U.S. By bringing this tractor size more to the forefront of the American consumer, the tractor companies have been able to tap a market of small farm lots all across the United States. Tractors are being used for planting, mowing, haying, and hauling. Their size has become a convenience.
Ten years ago, you would not see many small tractors, brand new of used in the country. Several years later, 10 tractor brands appeared, all selling mini tractors under 100 HP. Today, there are 20 tractor brands to choose from.
Comparing Japanese and Chinese Cars
Cars have become a necessity in our daily lives. People depend on it profoundly. Relatively, the automotive industry has come to play a significant role in a country’s economy as well. Here is a comparison of Japanese cars and Chinese cars. Both are good in certain aspects. The Japanese are currently leading, but Chinese are on its way to catch up in the markets soon.
The two giants of the automobile industry, Honda and Toyota reside in the heart of Japan. When it comes to variety of cars, both have a lot to offer. They are best in many ways. Japanese cars are a favourite in today’s markets. Toyota Corolla, produced by Toyota is statistically the most sold sedan in the market and Honda CR-V child of Honda is known as the highest sold SUV in the world. Japanese cars have a lot to offer. They give you cars which are a great value for your money. Firstly, they offer a great fuel economy that does not burn a hole in your pocket .Their mileage is great on highways and even on roads. The Japanese cars stand their way ahead considering other factors like reliability, efficiency, price value, and resale car price value. There have been tests proving these to be true. Moreover, they produce cars which are environment friendly. The best selling hybrid car in the market is the Honda Civic GX, which runs on gas. These cars have not only won accolades and awards throughout the world in various car events and shows, but many hearts as well. The Japanese technology is futuristic and they know they are way ahead in car technology.
China has become the largest automarket. It beat the US last year with vehicle sales of 13.6 million. Chinese have car manufacturers like CBA, Chery, Zoyte Motors, Zhongxing, FAW, Zhonghua, Hafei Motor, SAIC, Shuanghan etc under its belt. There is still a long way for the Chinese companies to go before they can land in serious competition with the Japanese. But being a strong economy and high growth, China’s automotive scene is changing. China has already showcased itself in renowned auto shows in the US and although it might fall short in safety features as of now, but you could expect to see them in the global market soon. In the times to coming times, interiors would be more upscale, with high standard of features. Most of the engines will include the turbo technology and its size will become more compact. Most of the engines would be downsized from four cylinder units. Energy policies of the countries will enforce hybrid technology, depending on alternate sources like, electricity and fuel cell technology; Chinese cars have a long way ahead.
